We have an exciting opportunity available within our Human Resources function for a Resourcing Manager, leading our internal recruitment function across all three of our operations.

The role will be to maintain and develop a high performing in-house resourcing function, providing clear direction to the Business across all 3 operations (Bristol, Southampton & Torquay). Implementing strategies and robust resourcing processes in order to support the Business in recruiting talented individuals, enhancing our employer brand and reducing the utilisation of 3rd party support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the lead recruiter, supporting the Business in the recruitment of talented individuals at all levels, up to and including senior executive, bybuilding and managing candidate pipelines and ensuring effective talent pooling

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all recruitment related queries, educating & coaching hiring managers on recruitment best practice including recruitment strategy, interview process and the utilisation of appropriate selection tools

  • Influence and negotiate with key stakeholders throughout the business, providing insight into the resourcing function, market trends & recruitment strategies

  • Continually improve company-wide recruitment processes, working with the Head of HR to make suggested changes and improvements

  • Maintain effective workforce planning tools, working proactively with the business to plan for future anticipated recruitment

  • Champion best practice and provide sound advice to business leaders on policies and procedures

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience Required:

  • Experience of working in a high performing resourcing function

  • Working with and supporting senior stakeholders to ensure HR processes are followed at all times

  • Using initiative to resolve challenging and difficult situations

Experience Desired:

  • Previous experience of working in a regulated environment

  • Line management

Education, Knowledge & Skills

Required:

  • Influencing senior stakeholders

  • Good level of numeracy and literacy

  • Excellent IT skills - Experience of using Microsoft office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of and utilising a variety of Recruitment systems

Desired:

  • A level educated or equivalent

  • Relevant HR or Insurance qualification

The role will be based in our Bristol office with occasional travel to our other satellite offices.
