Resource Planner in the Liverpool area required for a leading Tech company with Head office based in Liverpool. The role can offer some remote working but you will also need to spend sometime in the Liverpool office in order to support you carrying out the role effectively. The business is one of the fastest growing Technology businesses in the UK, seeing a growth of over 600% in the last 3 years. Due to continued growth and increased sales a new position has been created for a Resource Planner. This is a pivotal role where you with work closely with the CEO, Development and Finance Director to ensure all projects are resourced and planned properly with the right people skills at the right times. In order for you to understand the business and the teams skills and experience you will need to spend some time working in the Liverpool office to understand what people do and their technical strength and experience in order to effectively plan and resource for each project but being the forward thinking business that they are they are happy for this role to have a mix of remote and office working to suit the position and person.
As this role can work remotely it would suit anyone living within commutable distance from Liverpool centre, so anyone living in Liverpool, Greater Manchester, Bolton, Wigan, Warrington, Chester and surrounding areas.
Resource planning for 400 + employees to work on multiple projects and contracts that the business has with major high profile worldwide businesses
Extensive use of complex excel spreadsheets
Being commercially aware of projects in process and when different skill sets are required, ie. artists and programmers
Producing complex project 5 year resourcing plans using excel
Anticipate different scenarios and plan for them in terms of redeploying from one project to another or recruiting additional people support in. THE PERSON:
You must be comfortable and confident using Excel at a highly complex level on daily basis, Advanced excel skill are essential
Strong interpersonal skills
Previous experience of resource and project planning
Ideally worked within a Tech business and have an understanding of IT roles and skill setsTHE BENEFITS:
