Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum with an OTE of an additional £4,500 per annum.

Staffline have an exciting opportunity to join our established team as a Onsite Contract Manager delivering first-class service and fulfilment to our high profile Client. Based on-site at our busy distribution centre in the Reading area, you will be responsible for the complete selection and management of around 200 warehouse operatives. The site currently has a fully set up work area and the team needs a strong leader. On a day-to-day basis you will need to manage the changing operational needs of the Client, reacting effectively to deliver value and quality. This is a non-sales, multi-tasking role which requires a level head, flexibility and the ability to be highly organised and efficient. You will report directly to the Regional Manager.

Your duties will include:

  • Daily interaction with Operational/Senior Leadership and Planning Teams to ensure expectations and needs of the business are exceeded
  • Attending daily operational meetings
  • Providing a 360 degree selection/recruitment and management function
  • Full responsibility for the selection of labour, performance, time management
  • Building and maintaining a high quality candidate pool
  • Forging strong links with local Job Centres and Welfare to Work providers
  • Monitor, record & report regularly against set KPIs/SLAs
  • Organising of shift rotas
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals of staff
  • Completion of weekly Payroll
  • Budgetary management, including full P&L responsibility
  • Ensure compliance in line with company policy (e.g. H&S, Information Security & HR)
  • Effectively manage disciplinary & grievance issues in accordance with procedures

Working hours:

Generally 5 days over 7, but must be flexible in working hours to suit the demands of the business

The Candidate:

  • Ideally experienced within On-site Recruitment Management/Contract Recruitment
  • Management experience in a similar environment is a distinct advantage
  • Strong customer service experience - ability to communicate effectively at a senior management level

  • Good IT skills - particularly MS Excel
