eSift are currently looking for an operationally focused HR Business Partner with strong Employment Law knowledge and previous experience of supporting across a region to join our client, a leading distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience within distribution, manufacturing or retail, with solid hands on ER management and experience supporting senior management across a matrix organisation.

Location: Regional based covering Letchworth, Hinkley, Croydon, Exeter and Chessington
Salary: £40-45k per annum plus bonus and car/car allowance

The role involves a variety of aspects across the HR spectrum which includes but is not limited to Learning and Development, Employment Law, TUPE, Talent Management, dealing with Unions, Organisational Design and Employee Relations with a focus on developing and supporting management teams to achieve their business objectives through their people.

Whilst the focus is on developing proactive solutions there is also reactive work particularly in supporting managers with the more complex ER cases.

You will also be responsible for working in partnership with designated client groups, providing advice on complex employment law issues including, offering support, guidance and development to managers to build their confidence in dealing with HR matters, acting as a Change Agent to implement organisational change, leading on assessment centres and providing recruitment support and leading on projects within HR and employee engagement.

Our ideal candidate will have/be;

Must have worked at BP Level, ideally in an Operational role
Ability to build personal credibility by demonstrating the organisation's values, building trust with partners in the organisation and proactively contributing to organisational success
Experience of acting as a change agent, working proactively to make organisational change happen
Experience of coaching & consulting at a senior level, underpinned by a collaborative & supportive style of working.
Proven, project management skills & experience
Experience of getting to know and understand the business and to identify how HR can best contribute to its success
Strong employment Law knowledge
Strong customer focus and proven ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Working knowledge of generalist HR practices and procedures
Microsoft Office (all packages to intermediate standard excluding Access)
Ideally educated to A level standard or equivalent. Minimally, passes in GCSE Maths and English Language
