Vacancy: HR Project Manager - 12 Month FTC

Location: Royston

The HR Project Manager will play an important role in the management, co-ordination and maintenance of the Clean Air HR's work calendar, oversee delivery of multiple pieces of HR project work and support key process improvement activity.

Reporting to the Lead HR Business Partner and working closely with the HR Business Partner/Services team, the role will blend both knowledge of HR planning/process and best practice with a clear understanding of project management disciplines.

The role will liaise with multiple key stakeholders in the business including, Regional HR, Group and Sector HR colleagues, Compensation and Benefits team and the JM Talent Acquisition team so the requirement for working collaboratively is vital.

Key responsibilities

Management and co-ordination of Annual Clean Air HR work calendar

  • Ensuring HR calendar is kept up to date via regular liaison with Lead/HR Business Partners and HR Services Leader

  • Assimilate Group HR Calendar activities into Clean Air work calendar

  • Navigate the complex structure of JM to ensure key planning requirements are included in Clean Air HR forward planning

  • Reviewing key milestones in work delivery

  • Identifying, mitigating and escalating issues to relevant key stakeholders.

  • Proactively plan

Lead discrete HR projects within the overarching JM Clean Air annual plan:

  • Devising and owning the HR Project plans.Project Managing, planning and running project team meetings and managing actions

  • Ensuring that necessary process/policies are in place and operational as a result of any project delivery

  • Devise and manage a regular project reporting mechanism, preparing and reporting on HR trends.

  • Process improvement

You will:

  • Be a HR generalist with previous PM experience and a good understanding of HR policies

  • Have project management experience

  • Have Advanced / Intermediate excel and word

  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication
