HR Officer - £27,000 - Warrington - Office Hours (flexible if needed)

We are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join an Industry leading company with a fantastic reputation. The company have been going for over 30 years and have recently enjoyed tremendous growth growing from 40 employees to nearly 200 in four years. As a HR Officer you will have a great deal of exposure to a vast array of generalist HR work within a rapidly growing large organisation (but not so large you don't get exposure to everything). The successful HR Officer will be heavily involved in Generalist HR work and must be able to work well in a fast paced and proactive environment. We are looking for a candidate who is happy to voice their own ideas

The successful HR Officer will;

  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the HR department
  • Maintain employee records
  • Assisting with recruitment from arranging interviews to preparing induction packs and new starter files
  • Dealing with return to works
  • Assisting with employee relations issues
  • Arranging and assisting with appraisals
  • Carrying our projects an example being DSE risk assessments
  • Monitoring equipment in relation to reasonable adjustments

The successful candidate for this HR Officer position will;

  • Be an experienced HR professional with a strong generalist background
  • Ideally be qualified to CIPD Level 5
  • Be approachable and a strong communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Have at least grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Experience in managing recruitment or employee engagement would also be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders
